It interfaces with just about any blog service [Blogger, LiveJournal, TypePad, WordPress, etc.] If you're a blogger you'll find this tool incredibly helpful- and it's free from Microsoft.

Windows Live Writer doesn't have a help manual, but you can get help from the forums.
There's a NEW forum, with more activity and more Microsoft techs working it.

Here's the URL:
http://windowslivehelp.com/...

Just trying to help...

Until next time,
LEHenryJr
LEHSYS.com

Re: Windows Live Writer

That's great tool for blogger, too cheers

Re: Windows Live Writer

I've been using Windows Live Writer. It almost doubled my posting frequency. I know it has plugins, but are there any good ones?

Re: Windows Live Writer

How about the All-in-One SEO pack on WordPress? I liked Windows Live Writer when I looked at it; how would one go about using the SEO pack with it, since WLW appears to be completely external?

Re: Windows Live Writer

I'm a Windows user; XP currently to be exact. I've been using Windows Live Writer far a number of months to write, format, and design my blog posts.

I have to agree with David that it is an awesome program. In the last couple of months it's been updated. The updated version has been out of beta during this year and it rocks: it fixed a number of bugs from the previous version plus enhanced performance significantly.

Just occasionally Microsoft come up with a program that is in itself a work of art: I think Windows Live Writer currently tops that list.

Re: Windows Live Writer

After seeing this post, I went and downloaded it. I used it to write a blog post about it, as I was exploring it. I use it on a daily basis to post to my blogs. I really like some of the add-ons and plugins that are available.

The "Insert Flickr Image" add-on is particularly useful to me.

Thanks for featuring WLW here.

Omar

Re: Windows Live Writer

I tried Windows Live Writer but I don't really like it. I am fine using WordPress to do the post.
