I get almost daily an email advising me of this new follower who is everything but new. It's always the same old guy on the picture, he only has one update and it's, of course, surprise, surprise, a link to some get rich quick scheme. It really puts me off. I blocked that profile, but I still get other "follower" email for the same person/company with a slight change in name with underscores, etc. It's annoying.
I sometimes wonder if this actually works with some Twitter users and do these guys get any business from spamming?
