This way they won't be so surprised when you email them... which is why it's best to integrate Aweber with a double opt in. Nice post too!

Re: Blog Comments And a HUGE Wasted Opportunity

..nice post dude...I am just wondering how to add commenters to my mailing list and you made my job easy. I've never thought about that. This wouldn't work on my blog because I
know that all the comments that are on my blog are spam comments. That
means your blog is full of people engaged in the topics of your site. I
always tell my readers to join the newsletter but never really entice
them to comment. With this I can kill to birds with one stone and
increase my mailing list at the same time.

Re: Blog Comments And a HUGE Wasted Opportunity

Exceptionally well!
The Contents are really very fine and excellent too.
Hope We'll get this type of contents and information from this blog in my future days.
This site helps us to know many unknown informaton. The articles i wanted got from here.
they are interesting & valuable.
Thanks a lot.

Re: Blog Comments And a HUGE Wasted Opportunity

I'm new to the whole blogging website thing. i'm learning a lot of new things everyday. i am still trying to build up traffic and all the newbie things.
Thanks for sharing these with us. would definitely check it out

Re: Blog Comments And a HUGE Wasted Opportunity

I've never thought about that. This wouldn't work on my blog because I know that all the comments that are on my blog are spam comments. That means your blog is full of people engaged in the topics of your site. I always tell my readers to join the newsletter but never really entice them to comment. With this I can kill to birds with one stone and increase my mailing list at the same time.

Re: Blog Comments And a HUGE Wasted Opportunity

Nice! As such, some degree of marketing skills is required for running all types of businesses---online or offline. Now when it comes to running an online home business, marketing skills become even more crucial for your business success. Internet marketing is a different ballgame altogether and you need to have a sound marketing plan right from the starting of business. To work out a marketing plan, you have to keep an eye on your competitors. This will give you an idea about the advertising strategies and current price ranges of the products.

Re: Blog Comments And a HUGE Wasted Opportunity

Wonderful tip and sounds like an awesome plugin. I will download it soon. Great price as well. Over the past 5 years of working online, I realized I also lost a ton of potential subscribers through my contact form on my site. I had been using CForms plugin for wordpress. I'd receive so many emails with questions, comments and customer services issues. I used a helpdesk before, but it was a pain and not worth the hassle. So, I did what I saw other successful business owners doing by creating a domain like: www.replytoholly.com which contained a FAQ, list of my websites and a form.

I removed all my CForms on my sites. I setup an autoresponder form which I created to specifically work as a contact form (rather than a normal subscribe box). So they'd fill out the form, double opt-in (and I explained it was necessary to prevent spam, which did help with that significantly) and then they'd receive a notification that the form was sent to me and I'd reply shortly. Each request and contact form submission meant that they were on my contact form list. I make it clear to them that they are being subscribed. It has worked very well and increased my list significantly. Sorry my comment is so long but thought I might share what has helped me and my business. I know I lost a ton of contacts by not doing this sooner.

Re: Blog Comments And a HUGE Wasted Opportunity

David, this is a great tip. It LOOKED straight forward enough for even me, but... I installed the code you had sent. It works great. I had put in so much thought if I have to pay for Email list building, but when I tried Aweber for 1 month, my traffic, page views, time spent on site increased by 30%. Action Comments certainly is worth spending. Not all visitors know how to sign up for news letter. So, finding all possible ways to increase the opt-in rates will help in long run.

Robert - Good job with the plugin. I totally love Action Comments, now I'm adding more subscribers to the lists. For the price you are offering its a steal. I would have even paid more for that.

Re: Blog Comments And a HUGE Wasted Opportunity

Hi David,

This may be a great invention.
